Tuscan - Provence

Here is another teacup made my Tuscan.  This is the last red and gold piece of china from my box of treasures.

This one is also Tuscan, produced 1947 or later.  This one has the pattern name of "Provence."  It looks like this pattern was also produced in green.

Here it is with an non-matching saucer.  Not bad, not bad.

Tuscan - Red and Gold Saucer

Here is the first red and gold plate I will share.  Based on an internet search of the back stamp, this saucer was produced any time after 1947, as this is when they added the phrase "Fine English Bone China" to their back stamp.  The company was later taken over by the Wedgewood Group, and eventually the back stamp was written as "Royal Tuscan" until that brand was no longer used.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  I'm excited to join you for my first Tea Cup Tuesday.  I am going to share with you two tea cups that I have in my collection.

This is a lovey Royal Albert Montrose tea cup.  It does not have a pattern name.

It has a lacy gold design around the cup and saucer.

The second tea cup is made by Royal Tuscan.  I am not at all familiar with the company, but the back stamp indicates it is a member of the Wedgewood Group.

I found this little guy at a second-hand sale at my work.  It is quite well loved, as the gold paint is waring off in a number of places.  But I couldn't leave it behind as it was only $1.

I like the details throughout the design on this cup.
