Rosina 405E

Here is another Rosina tea cup with another beautiful spring flower!  I found it the same day I found the other Rosina tea cup I featured in my last post.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Rosina - 409

Here is a tea cup I found last year at an estate sale.
Pretty blue blooms against a pale blue background.

I made some Spring Lemon Cookies for some friends that came over this weekend.

Lemon Cookies

Ingredients:
2 Tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 Tsp lemon zest
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tsp baking powder
1/4 Tsp baking soda

Preheat the oven to 350.

Combine the 2 tsp lemon juice with the milk and let stand for 5 minutes.  Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Beat in the egg.  Stir in the lemon zest and the milk mixture.  In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and baking soda.  Blend dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.  Bake for 8-10 minutes.  I made a lemon icing with lemon juice and icing sugar, and topped each cookie with it once they cooled.  Yummmm!

Queen Anne - chrysanthemum flowers

This was one of my first tea cups added to my collection.  A wonderful garage sale find!
It does not have a pattern name, but the flowers remind me of chrysanthemums...

Tea Party!

Here are some shots of a tea party I hosted a while ago.  I used both my Lavender Rose and Memory Lane china.
Delicious sugar cookies ... decorated for spring!
